Fewer million-dollar sales closed in March than in any month since at least March 2019, which is when Buffalo Business First began actively tracking them.
Four transactions valued at $1 million of more closed last month. Jacob Tierney wrote about all four, plus one, in a monthly feature.
The news wasn't much better on the high-end deal front. Of those deals – which we define as being worth $400,000 or more — 102 closed in March, which is down from the month prior (116), from the year prior (124) and the second-lowest number in our records. (Full disclosure: Our tracking of $400,000-plus deals only dates to January 2021.)
Business First tracks where these transactions are closing, and how many are closing, to help us pinpoint hot spots in the local market.
Right now, the market is looking pretty cool.
