I love broccoli, and I like to steam them or stir fried them the most. I could eat raw broccoli, but don't really like that much!

I actually don't like broccoli unless there is melted cheddar cheese on top :) It does however have many health benefits so I should eat it once in a while.

i do eat and love broccoli, even though it's not at the top in my list of favorite vegetables :) the reason simply because i do not know how to make it or cook it that will taste as good as how others make it :)
i usually just eat my broccoli raw or lightly steamed.

My kids and I love broccoli. We normally served it steam in soup, noodles etc. I don't have any special recipe for it as it is added in most dishes that we make at home.

Yummy, that looks so good. I love broccoli any way it is served.
I really don't have a recipe since my favorite way to eat broccoli is lightly steamed. I also add the raw florets to salads sometimes.Self SagacityFebruary 23, 2012 at 12:25 PM
You eat a lot of veggies Squirrel Queen, that is so awesome!

I like broccoli and so do my kids. Not raw though, it has to be boiled or steamed or grilled. While I do not have a broccoli recipe, when boiling our broccoli I usually add beef or chicken bouillon cubes to give the broccoli a little flavor.

Sounds good! I can't eat nuts so would omit the sunflower seeds. For those who don't particularlly like brocolic that could be substituted or cut down by adding a bunch of 'torn' lettuce.

1. I like Broccoli when I cook it :) I add spice and stuff and the kids love it like that. I think if I made just steam broccoli, I'd have tears and fights.
2. Not really. I just stirfry with other vegetables and pasta or with chicken.
Happy weekend!
Off to visit the others.Anne Lyken-GarnerFebruary 24, 2012 at 6:33 AM
I don't have a broccoli recipe I think you'd like. Basically, I just cook it in butter and a veg oxo cube and a bit of basil. The kids like vegetables cooked simply, and I have to do this if I want them to eat it.
I don't mind broccoli. I won't say I'm crazy about it, but I don't mind eating it.

LOVE broccoli and find it amazing that it is such a polarizing vegetable! One of my favorite episodes of Seinfeld is the "broccoli" episode with Newman!
No recipes to share but a funny tale to tell: I once had a co-worker who, like Newman, HATED broccoli! As a joke, another co-worker once bestowed upon him the gift of a handmade broccoli necklace and made him wear it all day! (The things young blondes can get aging bald men to do!)
Have a fabulous weekend, my friend!
